Success story: Turning Passion into Opportunity

As part of our SENT Programme, our member organisation ASEP (Austrian Senior Experts Pool) in Austria continues to support start-ups with senior expertise through the Microkredit programme.

The Mikrokredit (Microloan) programme helps small business owners and self-employed individuals set up their financial support, with ASEP mentors providing invaluable guidance — sharing their expertise to help entrepreneurs build sustainable, successful businesses.

One inspiring example is Ms. Mitic, whose focus is on selling delicious Mexican street food at Vienna’s famous Naschmarkt. With guidance from her mentor, she navigated the legal framework for her food stand and was connected with a knowledgeable expert from ASEP to help strengthen her business.

This story perfectly captures the power of mentoring — where shared experience and expert support can help small businesses thrive and bring vibrant new flavours to local communities.
