Highlights from Our General Assembly – April 29th, 2025

Last week, CESES members gathered for our General Assembly to reflect on recent progress and shape the direction of our work for the coming year. This was an opportunity to review and approve key decisions, including the financial report for 2024 and the proposed budget for 2025, as well as welcomed new developments such as updates to our rotating presidency model.

As a result of the discussions, we were very excited to host a presentation from Golden League, a vibrant organisation from Estonia focused on the inclusion and empowerment of 50+ citizens. We are proud to welcome them as a new member of our growing European network. Their work aligns closely with CESES’s mission to promote active ageing and senior expert volunteering across the continent, and we look forward to our mutual future endeavors.

In addition to governance matters, we reaffirmed our CESES statutes and shared our upcoming plans for SENT 2025, highlighting CESES’ commitment to supporting intergenerational learning and civic engagement.

We’re excited about the momentum in our network and look forward to continued collaboration with all of you in the months ahead.
